The Annual Heritage Festival has for nearly three decades been our primary fund raising event. It is also a joyous time when we all pitch in to host the Bluegrass region in celebrating the various cultural origins of our members. The surrounding community has come to expect and enjoy the spicy and savory flavors of the Middle East, Greece, the Balkans, and Russia as well as traditional dances from these territories.

The precautions and restrictions associated with limiting the spread of COVID 19 virus prevents us from holding the 2020 Heritage Festival. We are cooperating with city and state governments and our own Antiochian Archdiocese of North America in doing our part to keep our neighbors safe and health during this pandemic.

As a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church, you are familiar with receiving a pre-event packet of tickets to share with your family and to sell to friends and neighbors. Many, many of you are used to donating food and your labor to prepare foods for the festival. From these packets and your donations of materials we could count on a baseline of revenue and/or sales from each family unit. Without these sales, we are losing a significant portion of our annual church budget.

The online sale of some of our most popular dishes is helping to make up for the loss of Heritage Festival income and we hope you will all participate in ordering items for your home use. But online sales can hardly replace the income raised by the actual event that draws hundreds of visitors to our church grounds.

We are asking you to consider making a donation that is similar to the amount of the packet of tickets you receive to sell or give away for the Heritage Festival. This is usually $100 to $125. You can make your donation via our online portal by clicking the "Donate" button.

Thank you, and may Our Lord shower His blessings on you and your family,
